A. You could work with an Image Consultant because you are looking for a change in your appearance and you feel that you are not expressing who you really are. You could also be starting a new job and you need to spruce up your existing wardrobe. Or you might be having difficulty shopping since you can’t decide what to purchase and what actually looks good on you and fits you properly so you usually leave the store frustrated and upset. An Image Consultant is someone who can look at you objectively and give you guidance about your wardrobe purchases.

Q. Can hiring an Image Consultant be affordable for the average person?

A. There is a variety of services offered to fit your budget and individual needs. Image Consulting is available to anyone wanting to make changes to their appearance and clothing in order develop and enhance their full potential.

Q. What is the difference between Image Consulting and a Makeover?

A. Image Consulting is a process where I gradually introduce changes to your appearance that can be incorporated into your life with ease. A makeover is more of a quick fix and unfortunately, most people have difficulty maintaining this new look, because they are not accustomed to seeing themselves in this way.

Q. Will I need to eliminate my existing wardrobe and purchase a whole new one?

A. We will go through your existing wardrobe to see what pieces work and then I will make suggestions as to which new clothing items can to be purchased to improve your current wardrobe. You might not realize that there are a lot of pieces in your wardrobe that you don’t wear because they don’t suit you, they don’t match any of your other clothing or they don’t fit you properly. I can teach you to make sure that what’s in your closet is working for you and help you avoid costly mistakes.

Q. Will I need to buy the clothes that you suggest orwill I be able to pick out my own clothes?

A. I guide you and make suggestions as to which styles will suit you: however there is never any pressure to buy anything you don’t like, the decision rests with you.

Q. Do I need a large budget to shop?

A. Your shopping experience will be tailored to your needs and budget. Whether we shop in chain stores or for designer labels the decision on how much you spend is always up to you. You don’t have to spend a fortune to look good.

Q. Do I need to shop in the stores that you choose or can I also make suggestions as to where we shop?

A. Through our initial Image Consultation I will have a list of the stores you have previously shopped in and together we will decide where to begin based on your requirements and budget. My priority is working only for you. I am not paid commissions from any of the stores or brands that you might purchase.
